Horizon europe is the EU's leading funding program for research and innovation with a budget of € 95,5 billion. Tackle climate change, help achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and promote EU competitiveness and growth. Yesterday 25 May 2021 was the national launch day of the program broadcast by APRE The program facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in the development, support and implementation of EU policies, addressing global challenges.
The program aims to protect and promote the rights and values of the Union as enshrined in the EU treaties and the Charter of Fundamental Rights. It will help support and further develop open, rights-based, democratic, equal and inclusive societies based on the rule of law.
The Digital Europe (DIGITAL) program is the first EU financial instrument focused on bringing digital technology to businesses and citizens
Computing The program aims to bridge the gap between research on digital technologies and their dissemination, and to bring research results to market - for the benefit of European citizens and businesses, and in particular SMEs. Investments under the Digital Europe program support the Union's dual goal of a green transition and digital transformation and strengthen the Union's resilience and strategic autonomy.
The program is part of the EU's next long-term budget, (the multiannual financial framework), and covers from 2021 to 2027. The budget for this program is for an amount of € 7,6 billion (in current prices) , and will provide funding for projects in five crucial areas:
- supercomputing (€ 2,2 billion)
- artificial intelligence (€ 2,1 billion)
- IT security (€ 1,6 billion)
- advanced digital skills (€ 580 million)
- ensure the wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society in key capacity sectors (€ 1.1 BILLION)
Erasmus + is the European Union program in the fields of education, training, youth and sport, for the period 2021-2027.
For the period 2021/2027 Erasmus + has a financial envelope equal to 28,4 billions, which represent almost double the amount of the previous program (2014-2020).
Erasmus + is a program that covers the areas:
- School education (including early childhood education and care)
- Vocational education and training
- High school education
- Adult education
- Jean Monnet
With different actions KA1, KA2 and KA3 through actions that include mobility, strategic partnerships, best practices, cooperation for policies, sports.
